Important Notice to our Patients about COVID-19

 

Dear Patients,

Your health is our top priority. We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and have taken several measures to keep you, our doctors and staff safe. Our offices will remain open for urgent appointments and scheduled intravitreal injection procedures.  If your appointment is not urgent, you will be asked to reschedule to a later date.

We are doing everything possible to minimize risk to patients who come into our offices. All patients will receive a call within 1 week prior to their scheduled appointment during which they will be asked a series of screening questions to ensure that patients with symptoms of COVID-19 or other high-risk factors do not enter our offices. Patients arriving by car should call to let the office know that you have arrived before coming into the waiting area. Patients will be asked to come into the office alone unless they require assistance.

We are performing thorough and regular disinfection of all exam rooms and instruments between patients, limiting the number of people in the office at any time, and minimizing wait time.  All of our employees are wearing face masks at all times, and we encourage all patients to come to their appointment wearing a face mask.
