Noam Rudnick, M.D., Ph.D., grew up in Hamden, CT and received his undergraduate degree from Yale University. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Columbia University. He then joined the Harvard Ophthalmology Residency Program at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, where he received several awards including the Gragoudas-Folkman Award for research and a Heed Foundation Fellowship. He completed his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the renowned Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Rudnick is board certified in ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at many national conferences. He is trained to manage all types of retinal diseases including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, complex retinal detachments, macular holes and macular pucker/epiretinal membranes. He has an interest in clinical research, and as the director of the clinical trials program at Retina Consultants, he is excited to bring state-of-the-art therapies to his patients in central Connecticut.

In his free time, Dr. Rudnick enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys running, playing squash, cooking and traveling.
